What it does

One press starts everything

The big red button opens an episode. The family is alerted within seconds, and every moment from then on is timestamped automatically.

Readings log themselves

The blood pressure cuff connects on its own and records every reading. Nothing to write down or remember in the middle of the night.

A calm voice stays with him

A few simple questions, quiet music, honest company while he decides what to do. It knows his history, his medicines, and his doctors’ instructions.

How to use it

Two jobs, split the way it should be.

Dad’s side — the tablet by the bed

  1. Keep the tablet plugged in on the nightstand.
  2. When something feels wrong, press the red button. That’s the whole job.
  3. Put the cuff on and lie back — the voice walks you through the rest.
  4. Want to say something? Press the blue TALK button and speak normally.
  5. If the screen ever says call 911, call 911.

The family’s side — any phone

  1. When an alert lands, open the live episode link in it — readings and what he says appear in real time.
  2. The dashboard holds the full history, his health record, and the settings.
  3. When it says check on him — check on him. It never cries wolf.
  4. After it’s over, the summary email handles the doctor part.

The safety rules always win

Dad Alert never talks anyone out of calling 911. Hard limits on blood pressure, pulse, chest pain, and fainting are fixed in the app and trigger a full-screen call instruction the moment they trip. Everything else the app says is guidance while you decide, never a reason to wait.

What Dad Alert reads, with Dad’s consent

With his authorization through his patient portal (MyChart, by Epic), Dad Alert reads his vitals, lab results, medications, conditions, visit notes, and care team, read-only, so the family and his log stay accurate. Everything lives on the family’s own private US server. No ads, no sale of data, no third-party sharing, export and full deletion on request. Details: privacy policy.
